Good Cop

The BBC have postponed showing the last episode of this very good drama because of the murder of the two policewomen in Manchester.

Is this really necessary? Are people making too much fuss about tragic events? ManU players wore black armbands yesterday. What next, two minutes silence? And why two minutes? One used to be enough. How much longer before some idiot starts demanding three minutes silence?

Really, really stupid decision.

Out of respect, I will be observing four minutes of silence on here.

I can't see the point of taking if off the tv just over what's happened, if we're going to start this we might aswell stop every crime drama ever made after someone is killed....pointless.

They should have stopped it ages ago out of respect for drama.

So much for that.

Possibly due to the premise of the show.....

The plot centers around an ordinary police constable whose life changes forever when his best friend and colleague is attacked in a savage ambush.

and possibly because it is set a bit too close for comfort - Liverpool isn't that far away!!!
