I first heard it in 1973 in a bar in Famagusta, whilst watching a Turkish belly dancer. Her music was far more interesting than her dancing. It reminded me of the films of that era where there were lots of marching Roman soldiers. I was a little disappointed to find out it was the marching of the Toreadors instead.boltonbonce wrote:
