Plenty to choose from. Johan Elmander, David Ngog....ok, not really.

The obvious choice is John McGinlay but I actually thought Andy Walker was a better striker. I also rated Nathan Blake highly, but he should have been a world beater with the pace and strength he had.

There was also a season where Arnar Gunnlaugsson was a genius, great skills and goals as well.

You're all far too young. The best was John Byrom

Frank Worthington for that goal if nothing else.

I'm tempted to go along with this. By far one of the best goals I've ever seen.

You can't judge players on one goal, or Mark Winstanley would be our best striker.

John Byrom was a class act. I also rated Andy Walker as a better striker than Super John but he wasn't quite the same when he came back from getting injured against Swansea despite still bagging a fair few goals.

In terms of quality, can anyone really top Anelka? He was in his prime with us, probably the most talented player we've ever had in my opinion.

It's difficult to decide between Tony Philliskirk and David Reeves? I'll sleep on it!

Anelka and Ricketts, wouldn't mind them 2 up front for us this season in their prime.

Yeah, there was a time when Michael Ricketts couldn't miss. If he'd played like that through his career he'd have been a world beater. Instead, he ate a lot of pies.

Anelka was the most gifted I've seen in my lifetime.

I think Sturridge will go on to be world class. He was the only good thing about that team, and the second most exciting Bolton striker I've seen.

Not sure about that part of Sturridge going onto be world class, unless he learns to play the ball at the right time and stop being greedy he might not live up to his potential.
