Stand Up Comedians.

Don't go out to see stand up these days, mainly because the pickings are rather slim. In my opinion at least. Covid has made things doubly difficult.
I was thinking the other day about which stand ups would get me out of the house. And I came up with a top three.

Reginald D. Hunter.

Kevin Bridges. 

Wanda Sykes.

Any more I should add to my list?

Extremely clever, challenging and thought provoking.

I think you will love him, if you don't already.

I do love Stewart Lee Sluffy. Very clever. And very funny.

I would have loved to have seen Johnny Vegas when he started out playing the Frog & Bucket years ago. He was a maniac and often very drunk but was still supposed to be very funny.

I used to go to stand up gigs regularly and thankfully managed to see just about everybody I wanted to see. The only one I haven't caught up with yet is Geoff Norcott - a genuinely funny right wing comedian.

Of those I have seen and wouldn't mind seeing again I would pick Ed Byrne, Sara Pascoe and Jimmy Carr.

I used to like Dave Allen but he was more of a sit down comedian.

Stewart Lee would be my number 1 also.
