Don’t buy an Ideal brand boiler!!!

Just phoned for an engineer to come out due to having no hot water and the earliest is next Monday and have a four year old.

Looks like I’m going to have to boil the kettle for a stand up wash! 

It’s not fecking Ideal is it!!! 

Did you tell them you have a child and no hot water? I have British Gas cover and they would come out same or next day for that.

I didn’t think to mention it and she didn’t ask to be honest. She gave me monday as the earliest and came across a bit like that’s it tough shit.

She did ask what the fault was which I mentioned.

I think I will try them again.

Just gave them a buzz and got told that the people who arrange escalation for an engineer visit have all gone home and I will get a call back possibly tomorrow.

Sounds that it will be earlier than Monday though.

Why couldn't the original call centre worker mention this when I booked the engineers visit?

Slightly better news, i'm sure you can manage a couple of days with no shower

Down to Friday now which is a bit better. They said they will ring again at some point if there is a cancellation etc.

Thanks Okocha. It did start working again funnily enough so managed to get a shower.

The Lawrence avi is just because he appears to be flavour of the month, that's all.

It's just a change really.
