This is fantastic matt. Inspired by you me and my lad had a go at doing the AJ Bell stadium. Didnt have as much detail as yours though Smile

Thank you so much Natasha, I know how much Burnden and the disaster mean to us all so I'm glad that I've been able to create something for the anniversary. As far as I know it is also the only model of Burnden Park that exists in any form, given that so far we've only been able to remember through photographs, video and memories, so it's nice that I've been able to provide something a bit more physical.
If you have any ideas as to what I could include in the final video, feel free to let me know 🙂👍

Burnden is unfortunately the forgotten disaster, and I was planning on building the ground at some point given I've already done the Reebok.
The fact that it's the 75th anniversary of the disaster in just under 3 weeks and the fact I found out from my uncle that I had family there that day provided me with the perfect opportunity to do something good, and create a model of Burnden Park in remembrance of the ground and of those who died that day. It is also the only model of Burnden that exists to my knowledge, so it's a bit more physical than the photographs, videos and memories that we currently have.

Thank you so much mate! I'm really thankful for the amount of support I've had for this project and the reception it received on Reebok Roar (before it was shut down yesterday). Hopefully the club are able to do something with this. I'm wanting to put the video together now so if you have any ideas as to what I could include (quotes, other ideas etc.) then I'm all ears.

I'm glad I've been able to inspire you, as well as other people through my stadium work. You've had a really good attempt there at the AJ Bell, I think that's the home of Salford Red Devils isn't it.

At long last, my video as a tribute and memorial to Burnden Park and to the 33 who lost their lives in the disaster has been uploaded. Knowing how significant the upcoming 75th anniversary is to us Wanderers supporters, I have set it to premiere on my YouTube channel at 3pm, on Tuesday 9th March.
I'm so happy to share the link with you all and I will see you all there!
