WANDERERS (4-3-3)

MATT GILKS…7.

Leyton Orient failed to test him with many shots on target but in tough conditions the veteran came through with some important claims, and one excellent throw in the second half.

HARRY BROCKBANK…7.

He may not have got his first professional goal, as we had all hoped when he wheeled away in delight after an hour, but continues to show 100 per cent commitment to the cause.

RICARDO SANTOS…8.

After a couple of minor missteps early on the big man was nearly faultless on a day where no-nonsense defending was needed. Presented a danger at set pieces too.

ALEX BAPTISTE…8.5.

Exactly the kind of calm and composed performance Wanderers so desperately needed. Used the ball well, was always in the right spot and didn’t take risks.

BEN JACKSON…6.5.

Worked hard up and down the left. Seems naturally inclined to push forward and got into some good positions. Needs to develop a more consistent delivery now.

KIERAN LEE…7.

Did not see as much of the ball as Wanderers may have liked but Lee looks like a composed addition and snuffed out plenty of danger when he dropped into the deeper positions.

GEORGE THOMASON…7.

Still developing his technique on the ball and needs to look forward a little bit more but the youngster is absorbing all this experience quickly and starting to look the real deal.

LLOYD ISGROVE…6.5.

Good outlet in the first half and though the quality of the build up was often better than the final ball, this was arguably Isgrove’s best home outing for the Whites so far.

NATHAN DELFOUNESO…5.5.

Evatt revealed after the game that Delfouneso had been playing with an injury and there were moments of hesitation which suggest he is struggling a bit. Class should shine through, though.

ARTHUR GNAHOUA…8.

So dangerous when he slips through the gears and gets his head down on a run, and there was plenty of space to exploit in the Orient midfield. Deserved his shot.

EOIN DOYLE…6.5.

Took his goal well, moving into double figures for the season. Not quite firing on all cylinders at the moment but while he’s scoring, you can hardly complain.

Subs: Elbouzedi 79 (for Isgrove) – Had two big chances to score, should have taken them.

John 80 (for Jackson) – Didn’t get to see him push forward but good to have him fit.

Not used: Jones, Comley, Crawford, Greenidge, Tutte.

Leyton Orient (4-3-3): Vigouroux; Ling, Akinola, Coulson, Brophy; McAnuff, Kyprianou, Clay; Kemp, Sotiriou, Wilkinson.

Subs: Widdowson 59 9for Kemp), Freeman 76 (for Kyprianou), Dayton 80 (for Clay).

Not used: Sargeant, Cisse, Turley, Sweeney.

Referee: Sam Purkiss 7/10 – Seemed to ignore first-half stoppage time as Wanderers were taking a corner but tried to keep the game going and kept cards in his pocket.
