My slipper radar has gone off. I'm not sure about those though, Johnny.
These are very reasonable at around £30, the Everfoam memory slippers.
But if you want to lash out, you can get these beauties for around £90. The Ugg Tasman slippers.
Things of beauty, whichever you choose.

Let's face it, all the politics and tax talk had turned the forum into an episode of mastermind when really we are more like the chase (or wipeout in Bonceys case)

Boncey might be a bit on the daft side but he's always seemed harmless to me and I never have been convinced that he should have been sectioned in the first place. I do hope they will let him out soon.okocha wrote:

I have just recently discovered the joy of owning a Pair of Slippers, was dropping the hint weeks before Christmas that i could do with a pair of Slippers, nothing fancy, just plain, long as they were compfy, they'd do, my feet were taking a battering from all the Cycling, Walking and Kicking a Ball about, anyway come Christmas my hopes were dashed, nobody bought me a pair, it was a massive dissapointment, never mind the new Laptop, Camera, dewalt drill, smellies and chocolates but No
****ing Slippers, i was Heartbroken and spent most of Christmas Day in the Attic mumbling "we're going to win the league"
However, there is a Happy ending, apparently someone had bought me some Slippers but they'd forgot they had, so four weeks later when i finally got them i was over the Moon.
Slippers forever i say.

You must admit though that it makes you wonder what brand of slippers Vince wears.Natasha Whittam wrote:A new low for Nuts.

Glad you had a happy ending, Banksy. People just don't seem to value the humble pair of slippers like they used to.Banks of the Croal wrote:I have just recently discovered the joy of owning a Pair of Slippers, was dropping the hint weeks before Christmas that i could do with a pair of Slippers, nothing fancy, just plain, long as they were compfy, they'd do, my feet were taking a battering from all the Cycling, Walking and Kicking a Ball about, anyway come Christmas my hopes were dashed, nobody bought me a pair, it was a massive dissapointment, never mind the new Laptop, Camera, dewalt drill, smellies and chocolates but No

i have a confession to make, i hate slippers and won't wear them. They keep falling off my feet and i just don't see the the point in them.
There i've said it, i feel better already
