I watched the first episode, sets up some great stories and i really enjoyed it.

I was annoyed at the hype for the ending of season 1, the ending was rubbish. But I have managed to channel my anger elsewhere and will now watch it.

No I'm saying thats what people wanted to see in the final episode of season one.

as you watched it you will know that was the set up, that they didn't go through with.

What did you want to see in the finale that you didn't see, thats my point.

It was the ending that spoiled it. Remembering that Brody was a terrorist then having an operation that made her lose her memory - awful.

Yeah it was a contrivance but you get a lot of that in TV.

Anyway Homeland is what i consider a second level show, in the realms of a Prison Break or a 24. You have to suspend disbelief. It's just supposed to be great fun.

It's 10 times better than Prison Break IMO.

No, no where near as thrilling as 24, but i think the acting is better, and it's far more realistic and gritty. The ability to have swearing helps.

I enjoyed it but it was incredibly contrived, so your complaints about Homeland seem odd.

It also went down hill very very quickly.

Despite my disappointment with the way that series one ended I confess that I will probably watch at least the first episode of series two. It can't be as disappointing as watching Bolton currently.
