If we get a win and a draw (4 points) it takes us to 80 points for the season.

If Cambridge win their last game they too will be on 80 points but with a much superior goal difference.

We would have to win both our games to guarantee second place or better.


A defeat for BOTH Morcambe and Tranmere in either of their remaining two games would see us promoted irrespective of our own results.

The only thing that matters is that we win one of our two remaining games but this result goes to show how unpredictable this league is - and how we can't bank on anything.
But the combinations re the final places are interesting as mentioned previously - we could still be champions or also rans.

Promotion is the aim.  Champions would be lovely

I've got a terrible urge to climb into the airing cupboard at 3pm, and stay there until the game is over.
