Red Kites (the bird not the thing on the end of a long peice of string!).
Maybe they've always been about my neck of the woods but with hardly driving anymore and going on walks instead I see them everywhere in the sky, even over town centre areas.
Mushrooms.
I've always liked mushrooms and happy to have them when dining out but for some reason I've never seemed to bother much with buying them for home cooking.
With the advent of Covid and my desire to start to eat a bit more healthly than the often 'take away' routine I had fallen into and having a bit more time on my hands to home cook than I previously had, I seem to add them to most meals now.
Apparently they contain vitamin D which is allegedly helpful in fighting off Covid too, but that's just a side benefit if they do, I simply eat them because I like them.
What things have you discovered/rediscovered since coronavirus came and paid us a visit?
