No confirmation either way but i don't think he sounds interested personally.

"I cannot stop speculation, but I am very happy to be playing Millwall this weekend and that’s all I want to say. I cannot deal with speculation, I have too much to do in this job.

"I only deal in facts, and the facts are that I have a game against Millwall this weekend and I am keeping my fingers crossed that my players come back from international duty without any injuries, and I am also keeping my fingers crossed that I have prepared in the best possible way so that we win the match.

Interesting! He hasn't ruled himself out like OGS.

Was he laughing when he said that?

says this in the article..

Laughing off suggestions he would be turning up at the Reebok Stadium, Freedman said that anyone intending to have a cheeky flutter on the bet should save their money.

I'm sure Owen Coyle said something similar before his last game in charge of Burnley.

That's the same way I read it, it's typical of what managers say when they're interested in a job - "I'm just focused on the next match" bollocks.

If he didn't want the job he could just say "I don't want the job".

"When interviewed about the possibility of joining the Wanderers Coyle
failed to completely rule himself out of the running. He said,”My focus
is on doing the best against MK Dons this weekend” but admitted the
opportunity would make “a fantastic job for someone.”
Coyle’s failure to categorically close the door on the subject has
raised speculation that he could be tempted away from his current post.
When prompted further Mr Coyle avoided making a direct answer and chose
his words wisely saying,”As always, I am concentrating on the job in
hand.”"

Just been looking through some of the palace forums.

To say it politely, they seem to be "laughing off" the idea also.

Win ratio about 35%
