Finlay Lockett was on target as Wanderers Reserves finished their Central League campaign with a 1-1 draw at Walsall.
Lockett, who recently returned to action after spending the best part of a year on the sidelines due to an ACL injury, cancelled out a trialist’s opener.
The Whites named a young side featuring the likes of Luke Hutchinson, Mitchell Henry and Arran Pettifer.
The hosts nearly took an early lead through Ronan Maher but the midfielder was denied by the legs of Hutchinson.
Maher again went close for the Saddlers moments later, but his effort cannoned back off the woodwork.
Walsall went in front midway through the first half when a trialist found the bottom corner with a fine strike from 30 yards.
But Wanderers grew into the game as the first half went on and nearly drew level when Zach Hedge made a double save to deny Vine.
And the Whites equalised five minutes before the break when Lockett’s strike from the edge of the area flew in off the post.
Early in the second half, the hosts felt they should have had a penalty but the referee awarded a free-kick inches outside the box.
Lockett then sent an effort narrowly wide, before Hedge made a decent stop to keep out Matthew Tweedley’s effort from distance.
The Walsall stopper was also called into action to deal with a curling effort from Henry from the edge of the area as Wanderers failed to find a winner.
In the final stages, Hutchinson made another fine stop to deny Maher after the midfielder pounced on a poor pass.
The Young Whites finish the campaign on 12 points, having recorded three wins and three draws from their 10 league fixtures.
