Cheltenham boss Michael Duff is hoping for a “reaction” from his side ahead of Saturday’s clash with Wanderers.
The Robins suffered a convincing 3-0 defeat at Lincoln in their last outing after goals from Anthony Scully and a Morgan Whittaker brace.
Duff insists they have to be better at the weekend against a “very good” Wanderers side, who have won back-to-back games in League One.
"We are 13th in the league. I don’t know how we are still 13th, but we are,” he told Gloucestershire Live.
"You have to be careful of overreacting because we’ve said they’ve been great for the last couple of weeks because they’ve deserved it.
“There is an honesty within the group and they know that’s not acceptable.
"They are playing a very good team next week in Bolton and Cambridge are having a brilliant season, similar to ourselves.
"We’ll try and get them together and get a reaction out of them, whatever team plays."
Duff’s men are currently 13th in the table – 12 points behind the Whites with two games still to play before the end of the season.
The points were shared when the sides met back in November following an entertaining 2-2 draw at the UniBol.
The Robins twice went ahead through Alfie May but Wanderers hit back thanks to goals from Xavier Amaechi and Elias Kachunga.
