No subs. Couple of early chances for Hudds but then Santos hits the post with a header. One day he'll actually score a headed goal - but he's getting closer.

Is this going to another one of those games where we push for a late equaliser and then concede a second?

Baka for Lee, Dapo drops back to 10. Not much tinkering, but slightly more attack minded.

Sadlier whacks in a late equaliser!

Fully deserved draw in what was a very open, end to end game.wanderlust wrote:Sadlier whacks in a late equaliser!
A good workout for both teams and it looks like Evatt isn't budging one inch from his playing style.
That said, I can't see this Huddersfield side having much resemblance to the one that starts the season v Burnley on Friday but we'll see.

Managed to see it on YouTube. First half we caused problems for ourselves with the constantn playing around the back. Slow to get up field. Second half was much better. So looks the same as last season. Slow start followed by the subs on and late goals. IMO we need to start much faster and get ahead in the first half of games.

I'm wondering if that starting eleven is pretty much what Evatt has in mind to start against Ipswich?terenceanne wrote:Managed to see it on YouTube. First half we caused problems for ourselves with the constantn playing around the back. Slow to get up field.
How many times did we say that last season? Seems like it's an intrinsic part of the system used to try to coax the opposition out - which is fine providing we have the quality at the back to do it but I'm not convinced we do.

I'd rather watch a 6 hour presentation on Accounting hosted by Bob & Sluffy than watch a pre-season friendly at the Reebok.

Come off it. At least pre season friendlies come to a conclusionNatasha Whittam wrote:I'd rather watch a 6 hour presentation on Accounting hosted by Bob & Sluffy than watch a pre-season friendly at the Reebok.

Not sure if that is our best 11 - but since we can use plenty of subs this season Ian can change it on the fly as he did last season.wanderlust wrote:
