Those of you that follow my work will know that I have had a couple of ingenious ideas about how to kick-start the economy and get everyone back into a job. The first was to ditch everyone aged 14-21, the second was a mass cull of the over 60s.
However, I spent yesterday thinking about this conundrum. I was sat in my office as my brain worked this problem over when I started to look around the room. To my horror I realised it was full of people in their 30's who were simply doing the minimum to get through life.
Most have big mortgages, two or three sprogs, wives that were out spending their money or shagging the windowcleaner...basically a shit life. No drive, no ambition, they are basically in a massive rut and no use to anybody.
So how do you feel about euthanising everyone in their 30s? Again, it would leave a massive hole in the jobs market that could be filled by driven people in their 20s or unemployed 40/50 year olds who have bags of knowledge and experience......but are better off financially, the kids are grown up, and they've slapped the wife about a bit to keep her on her toes.
Could this work?
