National v Club Teams

With the World Cup fast approaching... and mulling over which teams I think have the best chance of winning the tournament, my mind drifted to how the national teams would fair against the top European club teams these days.

Throughout history there have been club v national friendlies but I don't recall any in recent years. With the insane financial influx to the richest club teams in the past decade or two, what's everyones take on how games like England v Liverpool, Brazil v Man City, Portugal v Spurs, France v Arsenal would play out?

Thoughts?

to me the likes of Citeh would beat most International teams but they are the exception i think. Teams like France and Brazil would beat most league teams.
