Wanderers skipper Ricardo Santos has been shortlisted for the League One Player of the Month award for February.
Santos has impressed since his return from illness earlier this year, playing a key role at the heart of defence.
The towering centre-back made six league appearances in total last month, helping the Whites rack up four victories.
He bagged a brace in the emphatic 5-0 win against former club Peterborough – his first goal since arriving at the UniBol back in 2020.
Santos was also on target in the 5-0 victory against MK Dons several days later with a clinical header from a set-piece.
The 27-year-old now faces competition from Shrewsbury’s Chey Dunkley, Derby’s David McGoldrick and Barnsley’s Jordan Williams.
Dunkley’s defending has helped the Shrews maintain an unlikely play-off push and he was also on target in the 3-2 win against Port Vale.
McGoldrick managed six goals and three assists for Derby last month, including a five-minute hat trick either side of half time against Morecambe.
Meanwhile, Williams has impressed at both ends of the pitch and managed to get on the scoresheet against Cambridge and Cheltenham.
The winner will be announced on Friday, March 10 and the judging panel is made up of EFL chief executive Trevor Birch, Don Goodman and Ivor Davies.
The nominees for the League One Manager of the Month award for February have also been revealed.
Gareth Ainsworth is shortlisted after guiding Wycombe to four wins from four games before leaving his position to take charge at Championship side QPR.
Scott Brown is also up for the prize after overseeing a run of 13 points from six games to pull away from the relegation zone.
Michael Duff is shortlisted after his Barnsley side picked up 16 points in total, including a 4-1 win against promotion rivals Derby.
Sheffield Wednesday boss Darren Moore completes the nominations after moving top of the League One table and setting a new club-record of 20 games without defeat.
Meanwhile, Dion Charles is up for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for League One.
The Northern Ireland international scored four times in six appearances, including a hat trick against Peterborough.
He faces competition from Williams, McGoldrick, Shaun Rooney,Josh Windass and Lewis Wing.
