Easter Eggs are out but not as we know it!

So we are used to the commercialised chocolate eggs these days but a new trend has been taken by storm and its savoury eggs.

No not the mini savoury eggs we get in frigerator in our local supermarket but cheese eggs and ones with pork crackling in!

these are not to my taste but will you be buying them to try out?

I learned to tell the time because of an Easter Egg, believe it or not!


When I was a child someone bought me instead of a normal Easter Egg something like this, with twelve little mini eggs, set around a clock face, which had moveable hands on it, so was easy to learn from - or at least it was for me!






And no I wont be rushing to the shop for Easter Egg cheese!

I quite agree about these cheese eggs as much as I love cheese I won't be buying them either.

A great incentive to learn the time with the chocolate easter egg clock!

Easter Egg prices have gone up 50% on last year due to the global warming impact on West African crops creating a crop failure shortage. In response, some manufacturers have just whacked up their prices whilst others have made their eggs smaller so I suspect mini-eggs are the future.
