Seems Evatt needs to get himself a better reserve keeper than Coleman!!!

Well balanced interview. I thought she managed expectations re player expenditure quite well by alluding to the difficulty of competing with foreign owners and the changed structure of the game - and the difficulty of being sustainable in the current environment. Wondering if she now thinks that City’s legal action will undermine the proposed EFL support package?

I don't think City's action actually stands much chance lusty. The rules they are challenging already existed before being tightened in February which is long after City were charged to begin with. In fact you could almost say the entire action is a 'Donald Trump' tactic of attempting to delay their own upcoming date with the PL panel on what if any punishment they would face for breaking the various rules. I believe the CAS will likely do one of two things.

They will either (imo likely) say they have no jurisdiction since 70% of the PL voted in favour of the rule change and refer it back to the PL panel OR (less likely but possible) rule directly against City but that would probably create a precedent that the rest of UEFA if not World Football would really hate as it could limit the way smaller clubs could increase revenue via sponsorships.

Finding in favour of City's challenge would effectively end all FA's not just ours authority to regulate clubs financial dealings at all and do irreperable harm to the various League's ability to actually govern the game at all.
