Details have been confirmed for the Carabao Cup first round draw as Wanderers wait to learn their opponents.
The draw will take place at 11.30am on Thursday, June 27 and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports News.
The competition is regionalised at this stage, with two separate draws taking place for the northern and southern sections.
League One and League Two clubs enter the competition in the first round. Most Championship sides will also be involved apart from Burnley and Luton, who join in the second round along with the 13 Premier League clubs not competing in Europe.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea will all join in the third round.
Wanderers beat Barrow 1-0 in the opening round last season thanks to Zac Ashworth’s goal on the stroke of half time.
Ian Evatt’s men were knocked out by Middlesbrough in the second round following a 3-1 defeat at the Toughsheet Community Stadium despite Dion Charles’ opener. It was a repeat of the 2004 final at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
