Two Bolton Wanderers players have been selected in the PFA’s League One Team of the Year.
Club captain Ricardo Santos made the cut for the third year running and Josh Sheehan was selected after winning the club’s player of the year award and providing 12 assists from midfield.
The team was announced at a gala ceremony at the Opera House in Manchester on Tuesday evening which also saw top awards given to Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Erling Haaland and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.
PFA League One Team of the Year for 2023/24: Will Norris, Conor Shaughnessy, Marlon Pack, Colby Bishop (all Portsmouth), Ricardo Almeida Santos, Josh Sheehan (both Wanderers), Ronnie Edwards, Ephron Mason-Clark (both Portsmouth), Eiran Cashin (Derby County), Cameron Brannagan (Oxford United), Alfie (Charlton Athletic).
