Not sure why he can't play until January - is he banned or something? Anyway the conversation continued about Alonso having to step in to which Nixon said that he had loads of talent but the penny hasn't dropped with him yet (I assume about playing the British way rather than the Spanish?). Someone then asked about his court case to which Nixon replied -

Cleared. Wasn't drunk. Think it was down to weather. Sadly there was still a victim.

Any excuse for poor performances as a result of concern over the outcome of the case has gone. All that malicious talk when it happened is proved unfounded. So all that's left is for our Marcos to knuckle down to the job in hand and learn the LB trade properly. He needs to realise that he can't wander out of position and try to play like a winger - something he could probably have got away with at youth level - and if he doesn't, I'd also expect him to be on his bike.
