Where will we finish?

Over half way through the season now and currently 16th in the table. Where will we be come may in your opinion?

Top half, outside play-off places I think for me.

You've got to hope Freedman will improve results following the transfer window and players getting fit again.

Can't really see us improving much for a couple of months yet though.

Bottom half but we won't go down. Dougie will save that for next season.

I agree with our resident hard case. 10 points off the playoffs having played an extra game/8points off relegation spot. Hope for some improvement over the next few months, but can't afford the requisite surgery needed at the back to push up the table significantly.

Top half but only just.

Finish around where we are now. Overhaul squad for next season.

It's interesting that before a ball was kicked this season, I think most people would have only voted for option 1 or 2. The first half of this season has been a reality check for us all.

I voted for 7-12 and even that took some rose tinted glasses.

Is the prospect of relegation this season really that far fetched with the current squad? I'm not too worried, but I'm certainly concerned about the teams below us picking up points!

I think we will finish 9th/10th.

I've gone for 13-21 but I can probably narrow that down even more to 16th-18th place to be honest. We have been hovering in those 3 spots for months, nothing tells me anything will change for the better but we won't go down either.

Also even with Holden coming back, I can't see it making this massive impact everyone thinks either.

I just cant see us beeing too far away from where we are now sadly. We will win one followed by a loss. That will be the story of our season

7 - 12th - Probably nearer to 12th. Hoping for a better end to the season, have absolutely no basis for this only a misguided and deluded optimism

i've gone for 7-12 bit it will probably the lower end of that. We simply cannot defend well enough to finish anywhere other than midtable. The real work for DF will be in the summer, a lot of average (thats me being diplomatic) players need to leave.

Who are the other two deluded souls that went for play-offs?

So far, NO ONE has gone for automatic promotion and TWO people have gone for relegation (although one of those is probably Bolton Hater!)
