£100,000 for 4 and a half years! Ludicrous decision.

'Arry doesn't want to throw the chairmans money about though...

Football has long since gone bonkers.

Isn't Theo Walcott on £100k a week as well now?!

Bosingwa on £130,000 a week. Now that's madness.

Walcotts one of Arsenals best players so its fair enough he should be on their highest wage.

I have to agree. I wouldn't mind so much if he was world class, but he's average at best.

Football is full of complete idiots.

£100,000 a week though to play footy? More money than he or anyone would know what to do with!

Walcott does have talent, good player but he's not in that "class" of player i would pay the elite level wages for.

Arsenal were under immense pressure to sign him though because they've lets so many top talents go recently.

I said to an Arsenal fan at uni years ago "walcott isn't that good" and he said "fuck off he's rapid"

told me.

Yeah he's put you in your place there!

He's improved a lot this season, probably their best front man now (which says more about Arsenal than anything) so I think it's justified having him on their highest wage.

Samba was a good player for Rovers, but not world class by any means. Too fat for that.

How can a centre back who was in a team that got relegated last season be worth 12million, christ they will be offering 20million for tim ream next.

Redknapp was highly critical when he came in of the club's recent means of attracting players. It seems he's not as good at bargain hunting as he thought.

Surely this is just an example of panic buying at it's worst? It smacks of desperation to me. The greedy fcukers at QPR charge £52 for an away ticket. If they go down they won't be able to demand such extortionate prices. I hope they go down.

If Harry Redknapp ever did any bargain hunting it was a long time ago. He's a good man manager and knows the game but he spends [other peoples] money like there no tomorrow, and for Pompey there might not be many more of those.

Didn't redknapp say he wants to trim the wage bill and won't be signing players and giving them stupidly high wages?

He's a shit manager, only goes to teams with money. He'll end up at everton when QPR go down and are under financial pressure.

QPR won't go down this season.

However, as with Pompey, the bubble will burst, they will end up on the brink of relegation to League Two and they will be in the financial poop. I'll be laughing at them.

Irony at the highest level, Redknapp comes into QPR and says there are too many average players on way too much money.....come forward to january 31st and he gives 100k a week to an average centre back, brilliant.
