I'm going to get an Xbox 360 as I'm not paying £300 for something they may not use.
What's all this 4GB, 60GB, 120GB etc bollocks - does it matter if I'm playing games from a disc?

You have to install some of the game even to play from disc.
If the price difference isn't so much between 4gb and 60gb then get the 60gb as 4gb For storage space is piss all.
The Xbox Kinect is worth s look at as it is fun interaction with games similar to the wii.

They won't be very happy unless you give them the latest console.

They are working on making the Xbox one backwards compatible. Should be able to play Xbox 360 games on it before Christmas.

Just read that myself, cheers Barb.
I knew I'd heard it somewhere.
Still not getting one though with that dodgy webcam business.......

Breadders, I can't see it being compulsory for you having to have the webcam attached to be able to use the Xbox one.

It wouldn't surprise me if the webcam is an accessory you have to buy anyway.

It's built in and it's constantly recording (so long as there's power to the box, even if it's switched off) and it records audio.
And I don't trust them fuckers at Microsoft.

Then Boggers has the answer.
Tape the lens up with some electrical tape or similar.

How's that going to stop it recording the sound of me enjoying some "me time"?

Is there not a setting in the system menu that you can disable both?
I'm with Barb on this one as the plumber that came round the other day to service your boiler could have planted something or the house over the road is being a peeping Tom.

So some ginormous corporation has been granted access to record what's going on inside your living room with a camera and microphone that you can't turn of but there's no need to be at least a very tiny bit concerned about it?
Facebook pass all your details to the CIA as well you know.

You should get yourself some of them remote control sockets so you can turn the Xbox off completely and not leave it in standby mode, it can't record when it's off then.
You could always plug the microphone up with blutack.
You are on to a winner then!
