A toss up between Willie Morgan and Peter Thompson. Peter Barnes was a great winger in his prime but he was past his best when he came to us.

Franny Lee by a country mile, closely followed by Peter Thompson and Willie Morgan. Anyone remember Ronnie Phillips,on his day he was pretty good as well.

Definitely Peter Thompson with Willie Morgan a close second. What a team we had under Ian Greaves.

Never really thought of Franny Lee as a winger - technically he was an inside right. He was good though. Great shot and won loads of free kicks and pens as he fell over if anyone breathed on him. I swear he could get fouled on the halfway line and land on the penalty spot.

Franny Lee was too stocky for a winger. Could put it about a bit as well.

Franny was a traditional no.7,an out and out winger for us and in his early City days.Despite his stocky frame he had plenty of pace in them days.
