Davies Injury plus Eagles and Mears

So DF is not building the team around Eagles anymore, come on Dougie make your mind up.

People need to get off Eagles back .... he was our best player by far early on in the season. And still our leading scorer to boot.
He is off the pace right now but it's the managers job to put him in the team when he hits form again.

Was useless last season though.

I'm concerned about Mavies now as this slightly contradicts what we were hearing about the injury yesterday. We could be a bit short in the creative department with Holden still not ready, Eagles out of form and Mavies potentially hurt. Let's see what they say this afternoon, but I'm hoping for better news.

Think we signed him to shield the defence - probably lined up for when Spearing leaves. Don't think he was particularly known for opening up defences as Holden, Mavies and Eagles are supposed to do.
