Anyone bothered about this game - live on ITV - 8.00 p.m. kick off if you are.

I guess we could hold a Chatbox if there is some interest perhaps?

Will we score a hat full today or will our overpaid prima donnas find yet another way to disappoint us again?

Well obviously i would usually be rooting for an upset, but lets be honest, there's more chance of Bolton winning the world cup than San Marino getting in Englands half.

They did in 1993 - this is what happened just 8 seconds after the game kicked off!

Anything less than a 5-0 win would be a bit of a let down, let's face it Zat Knight could play tonight and look solid at the back.

Obviously want us to win, but the game will be poor I'm going to watch Wales Scotland, 2 sides more evenly matched will be a better game.

7-1 I think. We had to win 7-0 to have a chance of qualifying iirc.

A bit of a write up about the game done last year. Even if we had won 7-0 we still needed another result to go our way - and it didn't!

Worth a read imo.

Team that day -

England team: David Seaman; Lee Dixon, Gary Pallister, Des Walker, Stuart Pearce; Stuart Ripley, Paul Ince, David Platt, Andy Sinton; Ian Wright, Les Ferdinand.

England scorers: Ince (21 mins), Wright (34), Ferdinand (38), Wright (46), Ince (63), Wright (78), Wright (90).

It's about as one sided as you can get. I'm glad I had Ice Road truckers to fall back on.
