Bristol City away on Saturday is undoubtedly a "must win" game. Lose and our play-off chances will probably be gone.
But Bolton teams of recent years just don't win these "must win" games. The surrender at Stoke when we were relegated last season is a prime example. You'd have thought it was a pre-season friendly the way the second half was played. The team had no bottle and no fight.
The last couple of "must win" games I can remember us actually winning were the final day 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at the Reebok which kept us up in 2003, and the 4-1 thrashing of Ipswich in 2002, also at the Reebok, when a Bobic hat-trick all but relegated one of our rivals.
Can you think of any more recent ones?
