A new report by Westminster Council says that prostitutes are feeling the effects of the recession more than most. With increasing numbers of women becoming desperate enough to go on the game, availability far outweighs demand. Prices have dropped to as low as £5 for a handjob and £20 for full sex in some areas of the UK. Some hookers have even started accepting Nectar points as a form of payment.

Is cheap sex a good thing? Have prostitute rings been guilty of monopolising the market? Has sex simply found the right level?

I'm not overjoyed about it, but I find I can't charge women so much now that I'm a little older. I've been doing it for free for the last few years so I guess I'm used to it now and TBF the missus only has limited income.
