Played for both Bolton and Burnley

There are at least 32 players who have played for both clubs.

I'll start with Paul Comstive.

A decent goal scoring midfielder for us (at that level) who liked a bevvy and looked like a bit of a head case.

We nicknamed him Whooshy because when he got the ball he kicked it long and hard.

He played in the game against Orient when we stopped up in the Football League.

It's hard to forget about a player who played in the greatest Burnley team for the past 40 years.

On that note I'll add Ian Brennan. who scored one of the best goals that I've seen, against Liverpool.

Not exactly played for both sides but Martin Dobson was on our books and ended up breaking the British transfer record when he moved from Burnley to Everton!

(I remember Paul Fletcher too - we were going to build a team around him!).
