OK, I presume this is rubbish! But I'll post it anyway! Surely Anelka isn't coming back to Bolton is he? Shocked

A few months and without a trace. Thus concludes the experience of Nicolas Anelka with Juventus. The French footballer arrived in Turin in January during the repair market already has your bags ready. For he promises a return to England and in particular to Bolton; for the French it would be a return because he has already played with the club that plays in the Championship (our series from 2006 to 2008 over 50 appearances and scored 23 goals. Was not a particularly successful adventure to Anelka to Juventus. The bianconeri have wanted to get their hands on his Chelsea teammates Didier Drogba but the high cost of hiring has slowed down any ambitions. The choice of black leadership is so gone on 34 French striker who would have the task of reinforcing numerically the Department (after injury to Bendtner) and maybe to bring international experience especially in key Champions. But with Antonio Conte the relationship never blossomed. for him to just two appearances and no goals (although it might take the field in the last championship of the bianconeri 's). Now for the French return to open the doors of England where he had his best seasons but especially has managed to evolve as a player.

Apparently Nixon has said he fancies a move back to us. I am only going by what I have read, I can't see what Nixon says on twitter because hblocked me for slagging off Coyle haha

Turns out someone else has just said Nixon has rubbished the link, as I said, I wouldn't know as I've been blocked.

He always said, and I remember him saying, the best time he ever had as a footballer was at Bolton .

Someone mentioned the anelka rumour to nixon and he just said he doubts it.

If we were in the prem I could see this happening but not now, with our wage restrictions. At 34, would he still score goals in this league?

It would be great.

Can't see us being able to afford his wages though.

That's if he'd actually want to play in the championship.

Non starter - we cannot meet his wage demands.

I'm guessing he'd score 25 goals in his sleep at this level.

Isnt this what BSA did?. Brought in really good players in the twilight of their careers. He'd need a couple of such players to steady all the youngsters he's determined to bring in.

Anelka apparently took a massive pay cut to join juventus, so much so that we could afford his wages...

I'd be amazed if this is true. It's one thing taking a pay cut to play for Juventus, and another taking one to play at Bolton.

I like to think he'd speak fondly of his time with us, but the club isn't an attractive venture for players of his calibre anymore.

He's 34 years old, he won't get many better offers, we have the advantage of having a connection with him.
