I don't know if any of you are aware (or are even bothered) but a group of Man Utd fans have decided to use fan power to try and 'Bring Ronaldo Home'. (http://www.bringronaldohome.org/)
They estimate that 1 in every 10 people, on earth, is a Utd fan and therefore they want a lot of people to donate £10.
A comment on a youtube video sums this up with figures:
if estimated £65 million pounds is the fee to bring ronaldo home, so
1. £65,000,000 divided by £10 equals 6,5 million pledges
2. up until 31st of august there are around 14 weeks
3. 6,5 million divided by 18 weeks means it requires 464,285 pledges a week
4. 464,285 pledges a week divided by 7 days means 66,326 pledges a day
5. 66,326 pledges a day divided by 24 hours means 2,763 pledges per hour
6. 2,763 pledges per hour divided by 60 minutes means 40 pledges per minute
This will never happen, but I thought it was interesting...
