Night-watchmen (As in cricket)

The most outstanding performance by a night-watchman I've ever seen occurred in a Minor Counties game (so minor I forget who were playing).
However, I do remember the night-watchman in question. JB Caruthers.
He was stumped second ball for six. A magnificent contribution.

Fucking shite anyway, fuck the Night-Watchmen, they're nosey cunts anyway.
