Best Bargain

Who do you think was the best value for money - transfer wise - in the Prem last season?

Between Micho and Benteke for me and If we could have either of them at Bolton I'd take Benteke.

Michu is average in my opinion - he won't score 10 goals next season. Benteke is a much better player.

Michu is an exceptional player. Offering £10 million for him now would be at.

Benteke, the guys a beast of a striker.

These things are difficult to call from Match of the Day footage. Berbatov looked a class act on MOTD this season but is reckoned by a lot of Fulham fans to be a problem area.

Read through this short thread from 2013, I get mocked for suggesting Michu would be playing for Accrington and Benteke would be a good player in the future.

For all those who mocked me, Michu currently plays for Langreo in the 4th tier of Spanish football. They are the Spanish equivalent of Accrington.

Fair play - joking or not at the time - it was a fantastic call now looking back on their careers since then.

Personally I think Benteke is a bad fit at Liverpool but is still a great player but it does look now as the Michu was just a one season wonder.

Also what a great memory to remember what you said over two years ago - I'm struggling to remember what I said two minutes ago these days!

I have no problems with my memory sluffy. In fact I just now got home from the press conference where our new manager was unveiled. I'm sure John McGovern is going to be brilliant, he'll be the one who takes us back to the top and the football is going to be fantastic!
