I would have thought that we'd have a better chance of nicking Palace players if they get promoted as they'll undoubtedly want to bring in new players.

According to Owen Coyle's autobiography we did.

Coyle aslo tried to sign Thiago on loan from Barcelona.

He also tried to sign a Mexican player called Fabian. I wrote to Marc Iles about him and he told me the deal fell through because he hadn't played enough times for Mexico. Thought it was funny that United could bring in young players from South America who had never played for their national team and yet Bolton couldn't.

Fabian is a 75 in Fifa 13.

Palace deserved the win, though I think Watford would have won on penalties if it had gone the distance.

It wasn't a great game and I think Palace will struggle next season, without Zaha they have little up front.
