Transfer Rumour Update: Rob Hulse

Apparently we are trying to sign Rob Hulse along with Nottingham Forest and Birmingham

He is shit.

Just read this too js. Most rumours so far have been quite promising. I hope this one isn't likely

He's a competent championship level player who occasionally makes a match-winning contribution. That said, what more can we expect on our budget? Uninspiring though and that doesn't chime with Dougie's bargains to date so I'd be surprised and disappointed if there is any truth in it.

Hulse?

Hes shit - too lightweight.

Nixon knows nothing about Hulse story - in fact he's hinting that we have money to spend and that (in my words not his) we are after Dawson (£2.5 million), Jediak (if Palace stay down - £2 million) and striker £5-6 million. (£1 million in from Mills sale to Leeds).

Hulse is 34.

Don't think the Hulse story stacks up at all to me.

I just remember him as part of Megsons' West Brom. Surprised he's still around.

I think that Eddie Davies is finally showing that he means business this year! He seems to be throwing the cash at us as he's realised that the prem is where the money is!

We haven't spent a penny yet.

Signing Hulse would send a message from Freedman that he doesn't think our current bunch are up to the task.

I once signed Hulse for Bolton on Football Manager 07, he did a job. Infact he kept Anelka out of the team for a while. Get him signed up.

Yeah of course he is, thats why he's played hundreds of professional games and scored loads of goals.
