We usually just throw the ball to the other team. I'm hoping Dougie has a few better ideas this season.

We may end up with players like these but I doubt it and hope we don't. Experienced players who have been released will still want high salaries. I'd like to see more innovative signings. people who have something to prove and are prepared to take a salary cut to prove it. Young players that have real promise and could compete for a first team place soon and for a long time to come. Bargains. If we do have to spend money on transfers, let's go for a real good 'un rather than spread the fund around.

The transfer window starts in 3 weeks time and I imagine every club will have the sense to keep their trap shut until then.
I am hoping that Lennie and his scouts are scouring the planet for top talent at bargain prices right now, instead of sitting in the pool bar searching the internet.
In a few weeks time we'll know what we're in for.
