I was playing 5 a side football tonight and I bent my knee joint further than it should. That was the end of my game. I don't know the correct term, but how would you guys recommend treating it. Is it simply a case of rest, ice, compression and elevation?

Yep. Just use the RICE method and apply the ice at 20 minute intervals for two days only. Then switch to applying a heat rub

When you go to bed, rap it up with a wet towel and tie it on, pain in the ares ,but it will feel 10 times better in the morning.
