What are you reading right now?

I've just finished "Hostage" by Duncan Falconer and I can definitely recommend it. I'm on the lookout for my next book.

iPads are hardware, and bullshit is what comes off your finger ends and out of some folks mouths. Hope this clarifies?

European Despots - a bit historical factual reading for a change, instead of the Isaac Asimov novels.

I haven't read them, but I think they are all about robots. So if you like robots you might like them.

I was reading Route 66 with Billy Connolly last week but wasn't as good as the pro gramme IMO.

Just ordered 'An Idiot Abroad: The Travel Diaries of Karl Pilkington' amazon.

An idiot Abroad - Very good, love it - I downloaded the electronic version of the Travel Diaries (for Free) - only read a few pages worth though - I don't read many books, the last one being one of Peter Kay's.

"Bodyline Autopsy" by David Frith. Best book ever about the notorious Bodyline Test Match series between England and Australia in 1932/33. Big Ashes series coming up and I need to get myself psyched up for it. Remarkable book Nat, forget about wimps like Nuggy and read about real sporting giants like Larwood and Bradman. The chapter describing Eddie Paynter's heroic century in Brisbane will reduce you to tears. You'll love it.  Laughing

You don't need psyching up Hip, it's the Ashes man.

I don't know if you've ever been in the company of 'barmy Jimmy'  but he's a laugh if nowt else. Very Happy

Read Andrew Marr's "History of the World" on holiday. Much of it is what you'd expect, but there are some interesting points made. Best thing about it is that it works on a timeline so you can get an idea of what was happening in different parts of the world at the same time e.g. the Ancient Brits were building a massive earth pyramid at the same time as the Egyptians were building their stone ones. Good read and dispels some myths.

I am trusting you, just ordered it from Amazon for 1p.

I'll make Nuggy read it as well.
