The fighting spirit at Leicester was great but he made the poorest decision of the season in playing Butterfield which arguably cost three points and ultimately a place in the play-offs. Not a night for Dougie to be proud of in my opinion.

Have you tried clicking the "switch editor mode" button?
When you click to quote someone else's post it takes you to the screen where you type your message - if you click the very last button on the right (looks like a piece of A4 paper with a corner folded over) this will revert back to the old way of quoting and posting messages.
Hope this helps, let me know if it doesn't.
Works

If we'd got 1 more point under coyle we'd have got in.
I blame Coyle.

If we had appointed Dougie at the start of last season does anybody seriously believe that we wouldn't have made the play-offs at the very least?
If so, please post your reasons on here so that we can all take the piss out of you.

Q: Have you got any more transfer/loan targets in mind?
A: Yes, we're always looking for ways to improve our squad.
He obviously follows my work on Football Manager, I said that exact same thing on monday when I was managing Yeovil.

These players are professional footballers. They get paid vast sums of money to play football. Why would a manager be proud of a team that LOST doing their job?
They weren't rescuing hostages from a Taliban stronghold, they were playing football!
Are accountants brave for adding up a column? Are you proud of your binman when he tips your bin into the back of the wagon? Does the till slag at Sainsburys deserve a medal for scanning your porn mags?
They are doing their job, just like the Bolton players. Only much better I should think.
Just a stupid point though, can nobody take pride in their work unless they're in the army then?
Drivel.

The manager of my lads team wears his heart on his sleeve, he's up and down that line like there's no tomorrow.
He's proud of the team when they win and equally drops down to disappointed when they lose.
Its called passion !

My point exactly - he's not proud when they lose.

No even if its a 5-4 loss, its still a loss, seeing the other team celebrating puts him/everyone on a downer, imo, you can only be proud after a victory.

You can be proud in defeat.
going to a big club and putting in a superb effort but just coming up short.
Lets be honest though under coyle and megson when we went behind i never, ever got the feeling we could come back. So a bit of fighting spirit is welcome.

That's bollocks, nobody likes losing , when we lost late on at OT 1-0 (I think) when Holden got injured I was gutted we lost, I couldn't give a fuck about a fighting spirit, we still lost.

I didn't say i liked losing.
I'm saying if you lose it's better to have given it absolutely everything than have just rolled over and lost 5-0 like we would under megson.
That defeat away at Villa under Megson was one of the most disgraceful efforts i've ever seen.

I know you get the same number of points but be honest.
would you rather lose with a great effort full of passion, or get smashed with a lacklustre effort and the players are laughing and joking at the end.

There is only one answer, but I wouldn't be proud , we still lost.

These answers also imply there's no more money for transfers after the 4 freebies and the mystery player in the pipeline. I'm really thinking that the transfer window will be a non-event for us and we'll have to sit back and watch other clubs preparing for the fight. Also looks like Jan Gregus might return to Banik without making a start unless the loan period is longer than I thought.

Tbh, I think if we can strengthen the squad without completely changing it, with this sports science , we will be a force next season, I think DF knows what he's doing .
