What about the US open?
You're right on Robson though, she just doesn't look good enough even at 19.

She is only 19 and she has plenty of time on her side. Serena got beat today so the women's group is wide open.

She maybe only 19, but can you seriously see her being up to Williams or Sharapovas level in about 5/6 years...I can't personally.

It's quite possible. The LTA invest an awful lot of money in home grown players with potential. It's a long time since Ginny Wade give Betty Stove a good seeing to.

she has the shots to get into the top 10 for sure.
seems to have a real problem with composure right now though.
she could do with bulking up a bit, look at the bodies of Serena, sharapova, kvitova they are absolute monsters.

Navratilova set the benchmark. She could crush a walnut between her thighs and hoover up the kernel. I loved the period when Billie Jean ( who wasn't my love ) was coming to the end of her tenure. We had proper looking women like Chris Evert, Tracy Austin and Sue Barker. Gabriella Sabatini and Anna Kornikova were good at providing eye candy as well.

Tracy Austin was 'over the hill' by the time she was 19

She was blighted by injuries but she won the US Open twice. Her first win in 1979 is still a record as the youngest ever woman to win it. She won it twice before her 21st birthday.

I hope I'm wrong but I do think that Djokeovic (McEnroe's pronunciation) will beat Murray.

Any player would have struggled against Verdasco today. It almost feels tragic that he lost. Credit to both players.

Fair play to Murray, that was a gutsy performance.
I can't see him beating Novac or Del Potro

A great service game and what a forehand from Verdasco, the best I've seen in my limited tennis viewing.
Quite the gent at the end as well, which for me is always good to see.
