Code for he's not good enough.

I doubt Coyle attracted many with his development skills.

Have you forgotten who Coyle brought in on loan? Obviously attracted someone to get us Wilshere and Sturridge etc. Shame they weren't players we could buy.
Presume signing Hall will finally end speculation about loaning Sterling.

You've missed the point, Coyle managed to loan some good players but did he convince them that he was the man to develop their career? No.
Not that we had much of a chance with Wilshere, but Sturridge wanted to leave but said he had fun playing 5 a side everyday.
Halls dropped a division to sign for us, a big reason will be that he feels Dougie can develop him as a player.

Spearing played under Coyle and Freedman - no mention of him coming back, so did he not think Freedman could develop him?, and now he's had talks with Wigan.

Wigan are reportedly interested in him, typical paper talk considering Coyle's signed him before - this is a long way from being in talks with him. If he dropped to the championship he'd come Bolton.
I'm not too sure you know what you're arguing about to be honest, I haven't said every player who comes on loan to Bolton wants to sign for us. I've said Rob Hall turned down an offer from West Ham to drop a division, leave home and come to us. I think Dougie must have impressed him to do that.

That is indeed one possible reason why Hall came to us, although he may also have taken a wedge of cash and the greater likelihood of getting a regular game into account as well. But it's probably Dougie's youth development skills.
