Hopeless!
How disappointing was Rizeena. I managed to lay Rizeena off at 2.1 to stand a chance of winning £22 if it won but obviously it failed. It looked a cert on paper.

Pity they were running on the turf and not paper......Michael Bolton wrote:Reebok Trotter wrote:Michael Bolton wrote:My main bet of the day is Sorra Bella at 1:40 at Newmarket. I have taken the early price of 16/1.

Yes
It was a really tough day today at Newmarket. Although Rizeena got tuned over today, I do believe that betting on class 1 group races are the best races to make money on. I find that with the class 2 and 3 races that they are all of the exact same ability and any horse can win. Whereas the class 4-6 races, they are all as bad each other and it is just which horse has turned up in the right mood.
The class 1 group races are usually easier to see real differences in ability.
I have to say Emma Spencer was looking lovely again today, she has a cracking body!

Absolute banker - Aljamaaheer in the 2:30 at Ascot. This is a sure thing.

I never gamble over the weekend but if I were I would be putting my money on these two.
1) Good Old Boy Lukey 2.40 Newmarket 5-1
2) Clon Brulee 2.55 York 8-1

Why don't you bet on a weekend? I have always said to people myself that Saturday racing is too hard, the fields are usually 20 deep and very competitive.

Weekends are for family and football. I don't do internet betting so I just nip into my local Hills during the week. On Saturday and Sundays I mow the lawn and clean the car etc etc.
I'll watch a few races on TV this afternoon.

The 3:50 at Newmarket looks a really good Group 1 race. I am going to have a couple of quid on Krypton Factor at 16/1.

Lukey won at 7-2 and Clon Brulee finished 5th at 7-1 when it was boxed in 3 furlongs out.
Aljahameer won at 6-4 and Mull of Killough was 2nd at 7-1.

We seem to be doing alright today.
I really like Prairie Ranger in the 4:15 at Ascot. I have £5 on at 13/2.
