Pre-season matches

I've watched a shite defence most of last season, and guess what ?

Friendly or not, there doesn't look more solid or harder to break down, I'm only commenting on the game, if we play well ill say we played well.

How many of that defense was first choice though? None so why the panic?

Just watch the highlights, they don't even bother to close men down the effort is a step short. It's just a run about.

they won't be doing that in the season or they'll be dropped.

What's the point in playing defenders that are worse than Knight, giving them game time ?

There not good enough for the championship, he'd of better of played the youth tbh.

I can't believe you're getting so worked up over pre season friendlies Scott, their were times under big sam when we lost friendlies to teams like rotherham but still managed to get into europe in the same season.

I understand your defence issues, we still have them no doubt but these games are just to improve fitness to make sure the players can last 90 minutes come the start of the season.

We all knew when Dawson went back to WBA that we needed another defender to replace him.

Alonso's gone now and i predict if we don't get a replacement for Dawson we'll let a few more weak goals in.

Sorry Scott but we let, as you say weak goals in whilst Dawson was here too, he was a good defender but you make out like we kept clean sheets every time he played.

We only brought Dawson in because Wheater and Mills were injured. At least give Wheater a chance!

And is Dawson even for sale?
