I think we’ve got a good squad that’s more than capable of challenging for promotion this season. I’m abit worried at the lack of quality depth of the squad, and the injuries aren’t helping are cause but I think we will do well this season.

Given a choice I'm sure Dougie would rather Mills, Knight, Ream and Mears were all somewhere else by now, unfortunately they are all on good contracts and no one else wants them or is prepared to match their wages. There is still a month to go until the transfer window shuts so there might still be time for one or two to be shipped out and replaced but I'm not holding my breath.

Mr Sheep is a supporter, it's obvious there's some closet scum fans on here!!

It isn't number we need but some sort of quality, but we also have to be fair with the Financial Fair Play - otherwise we could be fined or even lose points, therefore we are limited in what we can spend, whilst trying to be sensible and see what we can do for a promotional push.

Last time we signed a large number of players, i.e. 12 players, was when Sammy Lee was in charge and what happened there!!!

It will also help that Sky now have upto 36 more matches a season, to show from teh 3 Divisions of teh Football League, and as such we could be featured more than last season thus gaining more money that way.
