Frank (and anyone else) - go to the forum front page - the one with all the various bits of the forum are - Bolton Wanders Banter, Wandering minds etc.
Scroll down towards the bottom of that page and you will see a list of people in the Chatbox - at the end of the list is a link that says 'join the chat' - click on it.
A new window will open and at the top right of it it will say 'log on'.
Click on that and you are in.
Easy.

I managed to find a pub showing the match. And wished I hadn't, obviously.
The shape wasn't as negative as previous weeks, but equally ineffective, mainly because of a lack of width once again. Playing with just one wide player is restrictive with the best of players, let alone CYL.
We actually looked like equalising at the beginning of the second half, until Dougie brought off Ngog who had been key to this encouraging 15 minute period. On come Moritz to play in "the hole" (whatever that is) and we basically created nothing else.

Reality check! We signed Baptiste on a Bosman and he's on around 22K a week. Blackpool barely had any players, prior to the start of this season.scottjames30 wrote:Blackpool top.

The most inept performance from a Bolton team in a long long while. Can anyone think of the last time we had the piss took out of us by the chicken fuckers for so long ? Freedman Im afraid hasnt got a clue.He is making Coyle and Megson look like world beaters ffs. The only positive in his favour was he took that useless twat Pratley off before he could gift them any more goals.

We are bottom. We have the worst form in the league. The second worst goals for. The second worst goals against. knocked out of cup by tranmere already. Don't look a threat. Don't have a clue. To be honest we are only getting the results we should have got at the end of last season when we had that winning streak. Only then we were getting lucky, now are getting what we deserve.

Did any body notice that not one player came over to congratulate Baptiste after he had scored and all he did was run back into his position with that uninterested scowl on his face. Something's clearly not right in the camp and that's all got to be down to Dougie. Get him out now before we suffer any more embarrassment. We've a couple of weeks with the International break so there's plenty of time for JP and Sammy to raise spirits and starting by outing that useless piece of sh&@e Knight.

Your right, just watched FLS and only Ngog acknowledged the goal with Baptiste and he himself didnt raise a smile, very odd ? If you havnt watched it,dont !! its even worse than watching it live as they condense all the shit together, horrendous !!Whitesince63 wrote:Did any body notice that not one player came over to congratulate Baptiste after he had scored and all he did was run back into his position with that uninterested scowl on his face. Surprising we had 63% of possession.
The way things are going right now are every mistake we make is being punished and it seems like every good chance the opo get is going in.
We had one very good spell of pressure at 1-2 where if we made it 2-2, we had one off the line, you just never know. But guess what, they get a chance and it's in.

After watching the highlights I actually felt a little better. We had the majority of the posession and we actually looked like we did at least some decent stuff with intent on the ball.
The goal celebration I thought was like a determined player getting on with his job rather than running around cuddling. I don't think now is the time for celebrating goals. Maybe it's an instruction. Keep your head screwed on and get on with the game.
From what little I saw I noticed some things which must have been instructed. Like three players all at once running to take a quick free kick - it looks like a plan.
There is good to come from this yet. A big must is two central defenders who can do it.

I've seen the highlights as well and this could be on the who is to blame thread......
Your defence were all led on the floor for fatty Dunn's goal.
Beckford should have scored, he should have had a shot instead of passing it to the goalkeeper.
Zat Knight was terrible for the second goal, he could do with looking up the definition of 'defender'.
Ngog twisted and turned into the box but instead of sliding it across the 6 yard box for a sure fire goal, he ended up being greedy.
Baptiste was out of position for the 4th goal which left Wheater exposed but his attempt at defending was pathetic anyway. Not to mention Rhodes being left all on his own for a easy goal.
A game that had 'draw' written all over it but individual mistakes and not playing as a team has seen you thumped.

I was at the game and Copper has hit the nail on the head. On the plus side one or two Wanderers fans were suggesting that things are in the pipeline for bringing Dawson back to the Reebok. He only made the subs bench at West Brom today but didn't come on.Copper Dragon wrote:I've seen the highlights as well and this could be on the who is to blame thread......
