This is a why thread so do your own particular piss off, why in films and TV in bright sunlight indoors do they have all the the fucking lamps and lights on FFS .

Why do kids insist on spitting everywhere? I was at the bus stop the other day and a bunch of teenagers were all stood around gobbing all over the place, the dirty bastards.

The flashlight is not a UV light RT to show body fluids normal light cannot?

Karly, they use a piece of kit called a fluoroscope to look for bloodstains and bodily fluids. This kit only works in the dark but every time these buggers go anywhere the lights are always off. It's just not normal.

I've just installed strobe lights in the bedroom. It makes the wife look like she's moving during sex.

Why do we have two words that mean exactly the same thing - flammable and inflammable?

I thought they used UV in forensics. 

I had a look on google at a fluroscope but only came across devices that would be used in hospitals like for X-rays that obtain real time moving images of the internal structures of a patient (fluoroscopy).

They certainly do use UV to search for bloodstains etc in the dark. There is a specific chemical that they use to detect bloodstains but I can't remember the name of it. they spray it around and then they switch the lights off and hey presto!

I can't remember a single episode of CSI where they actually switched the lights on to carry out an investigation.

Why do we experiment on animals when there are so many lawyers?
