I think its a changing mind-set. Originally it was the greedy factory owners, who were rightfully challenged. However, over time the pendulum swung the other way, and the unions realised, and used, their power, They, also, were challenged. This latest episode at Grangemouth is almost a throwback to the 70' and 80's, and the union leaders have badly miscalculated. I've always been an employeee, but realise that though there will be ups and down, working for someone is a contract where both sides need to take the other into account. It seems that due to the financial situation everyone has taken the me, me, me, way of thinking too far. Its also a generation thing where people are no longer prepared to wait for anything, but demand it now. Were all wanting more, whilst wanting to give less.
